Felix "Chip" Grisaffe III

Felix "Chip" Grisaffe, III, 51, of Donaldsonville and a roofer, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013, Chip put down his hammer and nails after a courageous battle with cancer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Chip is survived by partner in life, Tonja Eidissen; daughter, Randi Cay Eidissen; three sons, Jason Paul Grisaffe, Christopher Eidissen, and David Landry; five grandchildren, Jaysie, Jayla, Steven, Blaze, and Kyla; mother and step-father, Joan Grisaffe-Joffrion and husband Virgil; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Stephen Rome and Stephanie and Chuckie Thibodeaux; two brothers and sister-in-law, John Grisaffe, and Burt and Darla Grisaffe. He loved his nannie, Linda, and his aunts, Shirley and Tinky. Preceded in death by son, Steven "Snap" Grisaffe and father, Phil Grisaffe Jr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and will resume on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Celebrated by Rev. Paul Yi. Interment to follow in Ascension of Our Lord Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuckie Thibodeaux, Morty Theriot, Scott Theriot, Keith Caballero, Jason Grisaffe, Josh Thibodeaux, Chris Eidissen, and Jamie Castro.
