Francis Paul Hymel

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sylvia Waguespack Hymel, son Francis P. “T-Frano” Hymel, Jr. (Lea), grandsons Francis “Trey” Hymel, III (Lani) and Brendon Stevens (Scott), great-granddaughter Paisley Grace Hymel and Grand Dog Louis; two sisters, Stella Hymel Folse and Katherine Hymel Vincent (Gary); one brother, Raymond V. “Pete” Hymel (Catherine); brother-in-law Raymond Becnel.

Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice J. Hymel, Sr. and Anna Tregre Hymel; brothers and sisters, Maurice J. Hymel, Jr., Marie Therese Hymel, Lynn G. Hymel, Lester G. "Yute" Hymel, and Maisy H. Becnel and brother-in-law, Richard Folse.

Frano was a Parts Manager at Cazenave Motors for over 40 years and a veteran of the United States Army.

The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodaux Healthcare, St. Joseph Hospice and St. Joseph Manor for the care during his brief illness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your charity of choice.

A visitation will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
