Genevieve "Jenny" Hebert

Genevieve “Jenny” Hebert, 94, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, LA passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Jenny retired from Dr. Ted Edwards as a Dental Assistant. She cherished playing cards with her family and friends, dancing with her husband, Ray and spending time with her family. Jenny was a great cook and her family will miss her “amazing” shrimp stew on Sundays. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Pink Ladies at Prevost. She is survived by her daughter, Dale (Skipper) Morris; son, Randy (Connie) Hebert; three grandchildren, Jude (Todd) Singletary, D’Ette (Brian) Stelly and Suzi Simpson; three great grandchildren, Justy Singletary and fiancé, Jay, Bryce and Nicholas Stelly and two great-great grandchildren Tate and Zyla. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stephen Hebert; parents, Phillip and Viola Cressionne and three sisters, Vivian Falcon, Vella Cancienne and Mamie Boudreaux.The family would like to thank Amy K., Jackie J., Angela R. and the entire Amedisys Hospice team for their excellent care. Pallbearers will be: Brian Stelly, Bryce Stelly, Nicholas Stelly, Skipper Morris, Terry Boudreaux and Todd Singletary.Visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm.
