Heather was a very sweet young lady. We are saddened that we were unable to attend her services today. Memories of Heather, Carol and Albert will always have a special place in our hearts. Sending our love and prayers to the Landry and Alleman family during this difficult time.

To the family I want to offer my condolences and to say that Heather will be missed. It's hard to believe that she is no longer with us. I had the pleasure of meeting Heather here at DOTD and she was a very sweet person and very knowledgeable about her job. She was so easy to talk too that I felt like I had known her for many years. Every time I would see her, I would say hey Heather. Now the funny part is I don't know if she knew who I was, but once I met her she had become my friend no longer just a coworker. Heather you will forever be in our hearts and may your soul rest in eternity with God.

Ms. Heather was a really nice lady. I didn't know her very well, but my interactions with her were always pleasant.

My condolences to the family.

I also knew Heather since we both worked at Teachers' Retirement System of LA (TRSL). I first met her almost 23 years ago. For about 10 of those years, we were both working as Employer Trainers for the same department at TRSL and we would occasionally travel together throughout the state as part of our jobs.

I have so many great memories of Heather. When we did get to travel together, we always made a point to eat at least one night at a local Mexican restaurant, no matter what city or town we were in. A love of Mexican cuisine is something we both shared. Heather was also a big movie fan, as in "going to the theater to see a movie on the big screen and order a big tub of popcorn to share".

For the past 2 years, Heather was working at DOTD, but we still got together occasionally to go see a movie or have lunch together.

Heather -- you are like the sister I never had, but always wanted. I miss you dearly. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Heather at the Teachers' Retirement System of LA (TRSL), where we worked together for 20+ years. In the beginning, we were only coworkers, but it didn't take long for us to become friends.

Heather was a super sweet person who had a heart of gold. She was always there for her friends: offering to lend a hand, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or share some laughs. Throughout her years at TRSL, she befriended many people and treasured each of those relationships.

At work, Heather always did a wonderful job relaying information to our membership and employers, and in a way that made it easier for them to understand. Helping someone prepare for one of life's biggest milestones –retirement– she just loved it! This type of work was an A+ fit for her, and anyone that met with her would likely say the same. Her knowledge, coupled with her friendly personality and willingness to help, meant that she never met a stranger. She had a knack for remembering people, even if she had only met or talked to them once before. When you had a conversation with her, you knew she was giving you her full attention.

I feel fortunate to have known Heather, and so grateful that I was blessed to have shared a long-time friendship with her. She will be truly missed.

We had so many fun times and great memories..I will miss you dearly may you rest in peace my friend!!!
