Dear Herman,
I was so sad to read of Jackie’s death. We were first graders in Sister Marie’s class way back in 1940 ! She and I went to each other’s sixth birthday parties. She had the best sense of humor, and you always knew where she stood on stuff....I loved that about her! I guess the last time we saw each other was at our 30 year high school reunion.
God bless you and your family, and bring comfort to you. You will be in my prayers.

Mr. Whitey, Herman, Myrtis, and Denise, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May all your beautiful memories give you strength during this difficult time. My teenage years were much sweeter with Ms. Jackie part of my life. My most fond memories are her generosity and that special laugh. I only remember her smiling face no matter what.
Thank you all so much for sharing her with me and so many others.
