

Jami was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend whose strength and determination inspired all who knew her. A courageous, fearless, and resilient woman, she faced life’s challenges with grace and solid determination. Her fighting spirit, constant faith, and enduring strength will be remembered and cherished by those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
Jami embraced life wholeheartedly and found joy in the simple moments shared with family and friends. She had a vibrant personality, a generous heart, and an unmistakable zest for life. Whether spending time with loved ones, attending crawfish boils, enjoying her favorite nail appointments, or running the roads with Jacie, Jami lived each day to the fullest. Her kindness, honesty, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
A graduate of Assumption High School, Class of 2003, Jami was employed by Our Lady of the Lake Assumption, where she deeply valued her work and the relationships she built with her coworkers. In 2022, she was honored with the Franciscan Service Award in recognition of her dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others.
She is survived by her loving mother, Bridget Landry Daigle; her sister, Jana Daigle; her paternal grandmother, Azema Blanchard Daigle; her aunts and uncles, Gail Landry Diaz, Chad Blanchard, Gina Blanchard Tripode (David), Gerald Daigle (Julie), Lena Cavalier (Craig), and Geraldine Daigle Bergeron (Tony); numerous cousins and extended family members; her best friend, Jacie Rivere; her cousin and dear friend, Angie Blanchard Klack; and her cherished fur babies, Milo and Mousey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald “Patot” Daigle; her paternal grandfather, Oscar “Ne-Neen” Daigle; her maternal grandmother, Helen Hernandez Beneditto; her maternal grandfather, Roy “Pete” Landry; her step-grandfather, Tony Beneditto; her uncle, Tom Diaz; and her beloved fur babies, Rigby, Noleigh, and Memphis.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cared for and supported Jami throughout her journey, especially the dedicated staff of Our Lady of the Lake Assumption and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center; Dr. Gerald Miletello and staff; Judson Jones, NP; Dr. Harry Sequeira; Ms. Tonya; Dr. Hana Safah; Dr. Jenna Bourgeois; Dr. Cecilia Cuntz and staff; Women's Hospital; Dr. Keith Landry and staff; and the exceptional chemotherapy nurses and aides of Five West, whose compassion and care meant so much to Jami and her family.
Pallbearers will be Jason Diaz, Brad Diaz, Kipp Blanchard, Chet Cavalier, Andy Blanchard and Aaron Blanchard. Honorary pallbearer will be Chad Blanchard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Plattenville, LA. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery in Paincourtville, LA.
Jami’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her strength, courage, and love for life will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
