Janet Ann Capone

Janet Delatte Capone, 61, a resident of Donaldsonville, LA, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Janet was a loving wife, mother, granny and friend to many. She took pride in her job and devoted 34 years to teaching children with disabilities and special needs in Ascension and Assumption Parish at several different schools. Janet was a compassionate and loving teacher who went above and beyond for her students. She is survived by her husband, Ray Capone; children, Jessica and Nick Capone; grandchild, Camryn “Cami” Capone; mother, Emily Ordoyne Delatte and sister Martha Madere. She is preceded in death by her father, Felix Delatte and sister, Mary Delatte. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Ascension Catholic Church from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow at Ascension Catholic Mausoleum.
