He enjoyed cooking, making people laugh, watching his westerns but most of all spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son, Cody (Courtney); two grandchildren, Addilyn and Andi Kate; five sisters, Sherry Simoneaux, Carolyn Castagnos (Richard), Marybeth Perry, Robin Trahan, and Jennifer Jones; brother, Kelly Jones, Jr.; In-laws, Mary and John Schaff; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Gretchen Rodrigue along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Kelly Jones, Sr.; brother, Mark Jones; sister-in-law, Donna Jones; brothers-in-law, Robert Simoneaux, Victor Trahan and Benny Perry; and niece, Jodi Trahan.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Smoke Bend.
