I remember many times my brother and I would go crawfishing with him and his grandfather. We were always fishing in the back of Lula. He served our country and forever thankful for his service. I offer my prayers for Jody and his family. Aunt JoAnn I am so sorry for your loss.Ann and Amy I know how difficult it is to loose a sibling. My deepest condolences.

I first met Jody at HC2 in Norfolk VA. He was a great mechanic and someone junior sailors like me looked up to and strived to emulate. For Jody it wasn't just a job it was a family and he took that to heart. It didn't matter how much you knew or how good of a mech you were. It only mattered that you tried and were honest with him. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him are better people because of him. God has truly gained an angel this week.

Jody...
My brother
My buddy
My mentor... He was a knuckle bust'n, wrench turning, oil covered, JP-5 wearing fellow mech & sailor 🇺🇸🇺🇸
My hunting & fishing partner... the best man to have beside you in the woods or on the water🦃🐟🎣🦌
And last......

My friend❤
I love you & until next time.......

" The King " UH-3H Seaking Helicopter
Jody kept these helicopters flying when other's couldn't figure out the mechanical issues that tried to keep them on the ground. His knowledge was impeccable and unmatched. And, he passed that knowledge on to his fellow shipmates and junior mech's...

Jody made a shot that day on this gobbler, that if I wasn't there, I probably wouldn't have believed it...
He was a true marksman, outdoorsman, waterman, hunter, fisherman, & a great ambassador to the sport & outdoor world for anyone interested in learning....
