Karen Landry Domingue, 49, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. Karen was a loving mother, daughter, sibling, godmother and friend. She had a passion for her career as a hairdresser and did hair for over twenty-five years. Karen was an extremely kindhearted person who was always willing to help any and every one she could. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Chloe Domingue; parents, Kenneth and Kathleen Petit Landry; three siblings, Kristine Hernandez (Adam), Kenneth Landry Jr. (Tracy), and Keith Landry Sr. (Amber); four godchildren, Greg Landry, Madilyn Landry, Karlayshia Sharat, and Alaina Landry; nieces and nephews, Zack Fremin, Tre Landry, Sam Landry, Chelsie Boatwright, Courtney Mabile, Claire Cassard, and Noah Cassard; godparents, Peggy Roger and Kenneth Naquin Jr.; three very special friends, Cherie Sanchez, Duck Madere, and Margaret Schaff and several other close family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Louise and Raymond Landry, Leo and Hazel St. Cyr and Sam Petit. Services for Karen are pending.

You all have my deepest sympathy and prayers Kristine was my classmate and I remember-how close they are she was her shadow and her protector Karen was like my little sister too and I still can’t believe she’s gone our loss is Heaven’s gain I love and Will miss her terribly I always looked forward to seeing her and Kristine during Mardi Gras in the truck float parade in New Orleans she loved being there with her family and always had such a great time and seeing her smiling and laughing made me smile “Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning “ Stay strong family May God continue to bless and keep you all and may you be comforted and find peace with all the wonderful memories you shared with her as long as you keep her memories alive she will continue to live on in your hearts May she Rest in Perfect Peace in the loving arms of God
