

He was a lifelong resident of Donaldsonville, LA. He was a graduate of Ascension Catholic. He was a retired head Operator at Texaco/Shell-Motiva. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and following Ascension Catholic sports.
He leaves behind to cherish his wife of 61 years, Audrey Seymour Landry; daughter, Michelle Cassard (Dennis); son, Dwayne Landry (Amanda); eight grandchildren, Coty (Shelby), Tyler, and Shelbi Landry, Madisyn and Marley Cassard, Rylee (Kade) and Harlee Landry and Kristine Amick (Timothy); six great-grandchildren, Blaysen, Bentley, Drake, Kathryn, Lilith, and Charlie; sister, Suzanne Gomez (Gary); and godchild, John Hurry.
Preceded in death by his parents, Norah and Louise Falcon Landry; son, Lamar Landry Jr.; and brother, Honore Landry.
Visitation will take place at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 716 Mississippi Street, Donaldsonville on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mass of resurrection will begin at 12 p.m. with Fr. Matthew Dupre presiding. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Coty Landry, Tyler Landry, Jamie Hurry, Troy LeBeouf, Lenny Carmouche, Benjamin Carmouche, Gary Gomez and Fred Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be John Hurry, Bentley Landry, Drake Landry and Blaysen Smith.
Memorial donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of his two granddaughters, Rylee Landry & Marley Cassard.
