

Lance Joseph “LaLo” Simoneaux, 52, was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on February 26, 1974, and was a native of Napoleonville, Louisiana. He passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Lance was a father, loving fiancé, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his daughter; his fiancée, Stacy Barnes; and her two sons, Landon and Logan, whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by his brothers, Glenn, Mark “Byrd”, Jimmy (Bridget), and Scott; his sisters, Donna McClendon, Trudy Albarado (Donnie), and Carla Alleman (Grady); his sister-in-law, Mona Simoneaux; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Gloria Monson Simoneaux; his brothers, Don and Whitney; his sister-in-law Michelle Simoneaux; and his brother-in-law, Mack McClendon.
Lance proudly served in law enforcement for 18 years and truly loved his career. He was dedicated to serving and protecting others and built countless friendships throughout his years on the police force. Known for his quick wit, outgoing personality, and generous spirit, Lance never met a stranger. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and was often the life of the party. His gift for connecting with others also made him an exceptional salesman.
One of Lance’s greatest passions was baseball. Whether he was coaching, cheering from the stands, or watching his nieces and nephews play, the game brought him immense joy. The time he spent on the ball field with family and friends created memories that will be cherished forever.
Lance’s kindness, laughter, loyalty, and love for those around him touched countless lives. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, service, and devotion to family. While his presence will be deeply missed, those who knew and loved him find comfort in knowing that Heaven has gained a truly special soul.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Lance will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
