Margaret Alzina Simoneaux, 92, a native of Donaldsonville and resident of Thibodaux, died on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She is survived by her brother Arden Simoneaux and wife Shirley Simoneaux, their daughter, Wendy Garcia and husband Gary Garcia; her nephew Alfred “Fred” Landry and wife Dot and their children, Celeste Landry Baer and husband Andrew, and Rachel Landry.
She is preceded in death by her sister Marion Simoneaux Landry and Alfred “Pete” Landry; parents, Sabin Simoneaux and Marguerite Roussell Simoneaux. Ourso Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
