Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her life was a testament to selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. Caring for those around her wasn’t just something she did — it was her gift, her calling, and her joy.
Mary found her greatest happiness in the presence of her loved ones. She cherished every moment spent with family and friends, delighting in giving thoughtful gifts and capturing memories through countless photographs.
Above all, Mary’s deepest passion was her faith. Her love for Jesus guided her every step and shaped the way she lived and loved.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion. Mary will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of sixty-six years, Gerald Aucoin; three children, Dale Aucoin (Karen), Kris Leger and Trisha Reynolds (Shane); four grandchildren, Dana Aucoin, Randy Aucoin, William Reynolds and Wyatt Reynolds; two great grandchildren, Austin Foreman and DeShea Foreman and one sister, Audrey Landry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Bezet Seymour and her two siblings, Gene Seymour and Kathleen Phillips.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10am until Service at 12pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, LA. Burial will follow in the Ascension Catholic Church Cemetery.
