

Mary Alleman “Connie” Barrient, entered into eternal rest on Saturday December 28, 2013 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She was 68 , a native and resident of Paincourtville. She was a school bus driver for 28 years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, a member of the Ladies Alter Society for many years and loved her church. She was a member of the Pink Ladies of Assumption for St. Jude, and was in charge of the bereavement committee for many many years and made everything perfect for the families, and was also that friendly face year after year in the cemetery to collect the dues. She was on the original committee for the Harvest Festival and the 1st Mothers club of St. Elizabeth School.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 31, 2013, 1:00 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, with Rev. Andrew Merrick, celebrant . Entombment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, of Donaldsonville.
She was the devoted and loving wife of Jimmy Barrient.. The perfect and dedicated mother always, she leaves behind daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Bernard Bergeron, Sheila and Shane Alleman. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Brandon and Christopher Bergeron, Taylor Dille and Spouse Andra and great grandchild, Tucker Dille. She is also survived by 2 brothers and sisters-in-law; Desire and Alia Alleman, Ray and Lydia Alleman, sister and brother-in-law, Lucy And Daley Clelland. She was dearly loved by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Desire and Elizabeth Alleman, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Evans and Nora Barrient.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Dille, Brandon Bergeron, Christopher Bergeron, Benjamin Alleman, Braxton LeBlanc, and Jeff Clelland.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Pink Ladies of Assumption for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Drawer D Paincourtville, LA 70391
