Cat was a devout Catholic whose faith was the foundation of her life. She had a deep love for the Blessed Mother and faithfully prayed the rosary.
To know Cat was to love her. She had a heart of gold and a special way of making everyone around her feel welcomed, loved, and at home. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the lives of so many. Her secret to living a long life was to live, laugh and love!
She found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was enjoying a cup of coffee, baking something special, cooking for those she loved, tending to her garden, listening to country music or sneaking a handful of M&M's. She especially loved the holidays, with Christmas holding the most special place in her heart. Cat was a true Southern Belle who was always well dressed and had her signature red lipstick and fingernail polish on.
Above all, Cat cherished her family and the love she shared with her husband, Raymond Carbo. Together, they shared 67 beautiful years of marriage. Raymond was truly the love of her life and cared for her with a devotion and tenderness like no other. Their love was a beautiful example of commitment, companionship, and unwavering devotion.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two children, Bryan Carbo Sr. and Lisa Carbo (Mindy); four grandchildren, Kesslie Vinyard (Ryan), Kayla Newman (Jo), Kristie Riviere (Mitch) and Bryan Carbo II (Sarah); nine great grandchildren, Alexia, Ashlyn, Joshua, Addison, Anna, Aubrey, Alivia, Buddy and Beau; her two brothers, Daniel Falcon (Betty) and Cleveland LeBlanc Jr. one brother-in-law, Gerald “Jay” Carbo and sister-in-law, Elsie Cooper.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carbo; son, Mark Carbo; parents, Cleveland Sr. and Edrye Falcon LeBlanc Capello; daughter-in-law, Faye Carbo and her sister, Janell Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank their family, friends, caregivers and the staff of Pinnacle Hospice for their care and support in their time of need.
