Maud Landry Richard

Maud Landry Richard, 95 years young, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 24, 2012. She was a native of Labadieville and resident of Donaldsonville most of her life. She is survived by two sons, Edward (Editha) Richard of Texas, Carroll (Jo Ann) Richard of Donaldsonville and one daughter, Helena Thibodeaux of Thibodaux; one sister, Lois Giroir and two brothers, Andrew Landry and Gerald Landry. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward "Peter" Richard, her parents, Cecelia and Louis "Bado" Landry, two sisters, Hilda Talbot, Rosa Mae Willard, and one brother Irvin Landry. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Smoke Bend, La and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Mausoleum in Donaldsonville.
