

Morris Daigle, 93, a native of Grand Bayou, LA died Sunday, October 20, 2013. Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville on Wednesday Oct. 23, 2013 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. He is survived by his brother, Melvin Daigle, daughter, Janet Blanchard, 4 grandchildren, Perry Blanchard Jr. Tammy Medine, Darren Blanchard, and Jason Blanchard, 8 great grandchildren, Aaron Blanchard, Ashley Blanchard, Chelsi Medine, Kyrsten Medine, Dania Medine, Ashton Blanchard, Erika Blanchard, and Alaina Blanchard, and one great great grandchild, Aubrey Hodges. His companion for the last 15 years, Ms. Lucy Charlet will surely miss him. Preceded in death by his wife Annie Hebert Daigle; parents Clebert Daigle and Euphemine Simoneaux Daigle; two sisters Maggie Albarado and Irene Paternostro. He lived his life with a purpose; to take care of everyone that he cared about. His life was filled with great accomplishments as well as many joyful memories. Not a day of his wonderful life was wasted. We celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. We thank God for blessing us with a man as wonderful as Morris Daigle.
