Nedra Ann Carbo

Nedra Ann Blanchard Carbo, 67, of Donaldsonville passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Nedra was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was always full of joy and laughter. She truly enjoyed babysitting and taking care of many children for over thirty years. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Gerald “Jay” Carbo; two daughters Dawn and husband Brent Burgess, and Holly and husband Pierre Landry; four grandchildren: Trent Thomas Burgess, Bailey Ann Burgess, Joseph Pierre Landry, and Elaine Michelle Landry; one brother Curtis Blanchard and one sister Berta Viallon; three sisters-in-law: Ruby Comoletti, Marion Leonard, and Elsie Cooper; one brother-in-law Raymond Carbo; numerous nieces and nephews; her granddogs Sophie and Zoey; grandcat Dru and her special cat Wag. She is preceded in death by her mother Nilda G. Blanchard and father Bruno J. Blanchard; mother-in-law Laurina C. Carbo and father-in-law Joseph “Balou” Carbo; one sister Judy Blanchard and one sister-in-law Ruth Dugas. The family would like to thank Dr. Stagg and his staff, Dr. Rahil Shah, Dr. Glenn Schexnayder and home health nurse Debbie Demanuelle. Visitation will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville.
