Neil was a loving husband, father, son, and friend.
He was an avid sports fan, with football being his favorite. He especially loved cheering on the LSU Tigers and the Green Bay Packers. In his free time, Neil enjoyed playing golf, watching Westerns, and relaxing with a good cigar.
But above all, Neil’s proudest moments were those spent with his family. He was a devoted “girl dad” and his daughters’ biggest fan—always cheering them on with pride and love.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of nineteen years, Helena LaCoste Marroy; two daughters, Mackenzie and Katelyn Marroy; his father, Neil Marroy Sr.; his favorite cousin Kenny Denoux (Trudy) and numerous extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Denoux Marroy; his sister, Marla Marroy Chauvin; paternal grandparents, Tony and Ella Marroy; maternal grandparents, Albert “Tatty” and Helen Denoux and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
A visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, LA, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
