After several years of dedicated service as an I&E Technician, Neil retired from Dow Chemical in Grand Bayou, Louisiana. He was also a proud United States Navy Veteran, honored to have served his country.
Neil was a devoted grandfather whose love for his two granddaughters knew no bounds. They were his pride and joy, and he never missed a moment to support them whether it was volleyball, softball, or basketball, Neil was always in the stands, cheering them on with pride.
A true family man, Neil consistently put the needs of his loved ones before his own. His life was centered around family, and his presence was a steady source of strength and comfort.
When he wasn’t spending time with family, you could often find Neil beneath his favorite oak tree, sharing stories with his neighborhood buddies. He also enjoyed playing golf and was a passionate supporter of the LSU Tigers.
Neil’s love, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Katelyn Marroy: daughter-in-law, Helena LaCoste Marroy and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Denoux Marroy; two children, Marla Marroy Chauvin and Neil Marroy Jr; parents, Tony and Ella Hebert Marroy and his sister, Brenda Shumake.
