He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Daigle LeBlanc; son Nathan L. LeBlanc (Jodie); grandsons Jordan LeBlanc and Brooks LeBlanc; step-grandson Tanner L. Bourg; brother Leslie LeBlanc; sisters Emma Oregon and Marie Segona; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Nolan was a 1964 graduate of St. Vincent Institute (A.C.H.S.). He retired from Agrico after 32 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his community as a member of American Legion Post 98, where he was a Past Commander, as well as through the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree member and Past Grand Knight, and the past President of the St. Joseph Society.
Nolan had a lifelong love of fishing and LSU, and dedicated many years to LSU athletics. He worked LSU football for 15 years, LSU baseball for 12 years, and LSU track and field for 25 years. He was a past recipient of the Donaldsonville Citizen of the Year Award and an inductee of the LSU Officials Track and Field Hall of Fame. He also volunteered with Donaldsonville High School football for approximately 25 years.
He was affectionately known as “Santa,” bringing Christmas joy to children and families throughout the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Denise B. and Leo LeBlanc, Jr.; brothers Leo LeBlanc, III, Milton LeBlanc, Oliver LeBlanc, and John Clarence LeBlanc; son Nolan V. LeBlanc, Jr.; father-in-law V.A. Daigle; brother-in-law Nolan “Ory” Daigle; and sister-in-law Doris D. Simoneaux.
