Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. His family was the center of his world, especially his grandchildren, who were truly the apple of his eye. They could always persuade him to do just about anything, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Robert was known for his wonderful sense of humor. He loved making people laugh with his jokes and entertaining them with his stories. He also had a deep love for animals and was passionate about caring for his pets.
For more than 40 years, Robert was an owner-operator in the trucking business, a career that reflected his strong work ethic, dedication, and perseverance. He took great pride in his work and the life he built for his family.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Debbie Templet Comeaux; five children, Tiffiney Gary (Mark), Christie Viso (Tod), Jacob Comeaux (Ashleigh), Josh Comeaux and Jonathan Comeaux (Madison); sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Denise Sonnier.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jason Comeaux; daughter-in-law, Jami Comeaux; his parents, Edward and Rita Comeaux and his brother, Kenneth Comeaux.
In honor of Robert’s wishes, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
