
Ronald “Rocky” Morris Jr., 55 years old, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Belle Rose became an angel to many on Friday, June 14, 2013. Although he was a dedicated and loyal employee of CF Industries for 34 years, his main purpose in life was caring for his family. Over the years Rocky tirelessly gave of his time to family and friends. He was a proud volunteer fire fighter and first responder for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Eugenia “Jeannie” Doran Morris; his 3 daughters, Alicia Morris Falsetta and husband Ryan, Alaina Morris Paine and husband Tony, and Ali Michelle Morris; his grandchildren, who were the light of his life and affectionately called him Poppa, Emmie and Logan Falsetta, Aiden, Austin, Anderson Roc, and baby Paine; his parents, Ronald “Ronnie” Morris and Sandra Young Morris; siblings, Nadine Cassard and husband Danny, Dana Clark and husband Robert, Kyle Morris, Stephanie Coburn and husband Tommy, Gwen Calvaruso and husband Darrell, Bart Morris and wife Amy; in-laws Donald and Margaret Doran Dugas, Mark and Kayte Doran Landry, and Jim and Myrna Doran Looney; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Rocky was blessed with a CF family that he adored and truly amazing friends Darrell Calvaruso, Chuck Montero, Keith Landry, and Jean Templet whom without them, our family would not be complete. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Young and Mr. and Mrs. Estave Morris, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Doran.
Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic School and the Donaldsonville Fire Department at CFLA Credit Union or Capital One Bank.
