Shane Pfister

A loving son, brother, and father, passed away on September 28, 2013. He was 28 years old and a native and resident of Donaldsonville. Shane is survived by his parents, Wayne and Letha Pfister of Donaldsonville; his sister Dori and brother-in-law, Mark Maddry of Bella Vista, AR; daughter, Shaylen Nikole Pfister of St. Amant; maternal grandfather LeRoy Plaisance of Donaldsonville and paternal grandmother Rosie Pfister of Donaldsonville . He is also survived by niece MacKenzie and nephew Logan Maddry. He is loved and will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Shane was greeted in heaven by his grandmother, Clarisse T. Plaisance; grandfather Vernon Pfister; great grandparents Adam & Philomene L. Plaisance; great grandparents Felix & Arthemise C. Theriot; great grandparents Frank & Josephine Forte; Uncle David “Spec” Pfister; and cousins Angel M. Plaisance & Seth Pfister.

Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, on Friday, October 4th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at St. Francis Catholic Church, Donaldsonville, on Saturday, October 5th from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., the Rev. Paul Yi, celebrant. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery.
