Sharon Dimm Rousseau

Sharon Dimm Rousseau, 69, a resident and native of Donaldsonville passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 with her friends and family by her side. For 59 years, Sharon worked in her family’s business Dimm’s Bakery on Rail Road Ave in Donaldsonville. She is survived by one daughter, Mitzi Rousseau LeMaire; four grandchildren, Meagan and husband, Samuel Cagle, Kayla Doiron and Adam Cassidy, Kody Doiron and Merek LeMaire; four great grandchildren, Kadence, Vincent, Nathanial Cagle, and Liberty Grace Cassidy. Preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Marianne Dimm; one brother, Roy Dimm Sr.; two nephews, Roy Dimm Jr. and Randy Dimm Jr.; lifelong friend, Glenda Palermo. The family would like to thank Irwin “Uggy” Rousseau, Schuyler Sanchez, Rebecca Dimm, Andrew “Banana” LeBlanc, and Kenneth Landry for all their help. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
