Shirley Stinson

A native of Napoleonville, LA, she passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of Preston S. Stinson; loving mother to Delaney Lynn Poteet and partner in life, Gary Ammons; proud grandmother of Symone M. Poteet; daughter of the late Dominge and Anna Achee Rivero; sister to Amelie Breaux, Herbert, and Gleason Rivero; and sister to the late Anna Mae Albarado, Clemere, Sidney, Oleuse, Alvin, Ivan, Cleveland, Dominge, Stanley, Sam, Emery, Offrie, Curtis, and Alex Rivero. Visiting will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 1 pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 pm., celebrated by Rev. Andrew Merrick. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Breaux, Gary Ammons, John Wesley Hawley, Laurence Richards, Ricky Combel, and Danny Albarado.
