

Thelma Grace Turner Boudreaux, 84, died on Sunday, February 17, 2013. She is a native of McLouth, KS and resident of Napoleonville, La. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Robert “Bob” Daigle of Napoleonville, and Janice and Herman Matherne of Napoleonville; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd J. and Paulette Boudreaux of Lafayette; three sisters, Vesta Kaufman of Hillsboro, Oregon, Wanda Harker of McLouth, KS, and Myrna Ellsworth of McLouth, KS; two brothers, Howard Turner of Kansas City, KS and Orin Turner of Ozawki, KS; six grandchildren, Jason Boudreaux, Misty Boudreaux Hebert, Dawn Boudreaux Roger, Blake Boudreaux, Danny Lauland, and Marty Pantinople; and eight great grandchildren, Heaven Lilliman, Jake Hebert, Austin Boudreaux, Peyton Boudreaux, Sadie Theriot, Denay Lauland, Dayne Lauland, and Kayne Pantinople.
Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lulu Turner; sisters Arlene Jensen, Guila Stroope, Wilma Watson, and Marjorie Marts.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
She graduated from McLouth High School in 1946. Thelma enjoyed traveling with her sisters, fishing, reading, playing scrabble and cards. Back in her high school days she was a basketball star.
Family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Keith Landry and staff, Cardinal Hospice nurses and staff, Home-Care PCA, LLC staff, her first PCA Tawyn, extra special thanks to Gail, Brittany, Kathryn and Bonnie for extra loving care given in her final days. Also to Fr. Paul Gros and to friends and family for their love, support, and prayers. Anyone wishing to make donations in her name may do so to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
