Therese Melancon Daigle

Therese Melancon Daigle, age 96, a native of Plattenville, LA and a resident of Kenner for 18 years, died on January 13, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Allen J. Daigle. She is survived by her daughter Janice and husband Stanley Vicknair Sr., of Kenner, LA; four grandchildren Stanley Jr and wife Lisa, Susan and husband Wayne Theall, Fay and husband Michael Bourgeois Sr., and Linda Marindale; twelve great-grandchildren Michelle Vicknair, Rebecca, William, Sarah, Laura, Emma, Daniel, and Julia Theall, Michael Jr. and Andrew Bourgeois, Joshua and Matthew Martindale. She was preceded in death by her parents Agnes and Luke Melancon; her brothers Paul, Luke, Louis, and George; and sister Edith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville from 9:00 a.m. – till Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, mass offerings would be appreciated.
