

Victor Dominick DeLouise, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, died peacefully Tuesday, August 07, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospice “The Carpenter House” in Baton Rouge. He was 81. Victor was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
Victor, a Korean War Veteran, owned and operated many local businesses including the Royal Vista Motel for 43 years.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Carolyn Clouatre DeLouise; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa DeLouise Schock and Robert and Stephanie DeLouise Stirrat and Michael; two sons and daughters-in-law Audie and Jennifer DeLouise, Greg and Colette DeLouise; grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Jude Zamalloa, Joey and Mindy Bryant, Ben and Yvette Bryant, Christalyn and William “Billy” Ferrell, Dr. Elizabeth DeLouise and Dr. Chris Helak, Mia DeLouise, and Luke DeLouise; eight great-grandchildren, Jason, Kaylen, Tyler, Madison, Myleigh, Kylie, McKensey, and Walter; brother and sister-in-law, Lucien and Gertrude DeLouise; and sister-in-law, Concetta DeLouise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michel and Mary DeLouise; son, Dale DeLouise; and brother, Joseph DeLouise.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
