July 10, 1935 – January 5, 2019
Virginia Cedotal Crocker, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 5, 2019 at the age of 83. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Tarver (Dennis), and Rhonda Hamilton (Stephen); two sons, Nathan Crocker (Debra), and Jimmy Crocker (Patricia); one sister, Therese Blanchard; one brother, Paul Cedotal; eleven grandchildren, Brian, Wayne, Randy Crocker, Justin and Jake Crocker, Jeremy Tarver, Kayla Tarver Hathaway, Jillian Tarver Hatfield, Brooke Landry Bercegeay, Lauren Hamilton Mc Manus, and Kelly Hamilton; and eighteen great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Adele Cedotal; her loving husband of 50 years, Harold Land Crocker; one sister, Yvonne Cedotal Litton; three brothers, Lugger Cedotal, Lester Cedotal and Leslie Cedotal; and one great-grandchild, Braxton Paul Bercegeay. The pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Jules Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am in Belle Rose. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the church cemetery. Father Matthew Graham will be officiating. We will all miss her but she left us with amazingly funny memories that we all have witnessed! Each time I think of her that is what comes to mind!
