He came to Wyoming in his twenties and was a sheep herder.
He married Maria Micheo on August 24, 1961 and left Spain permanently to live in California. They were married for 49 years.
He has three children, Frank, Gus and Mary, and 3 grandchildren, Taylor 10, Lauren and Logan Gerard 4.
Agustin played handball most of his life, it was his passion. And he was good. He played often at the Chino Basque Club/La Puente. His family traveled with him to watch him play in Bakersfield and Elko many times. Most Sunday mornings you could find him at the Basque Restaurant in Chino at their handball court.
Agustin was also good at fixing things. He enjoyed working around the house.
Agustin was a good father and husband, he was a family man. He enjoyed his kids. He was kind and understanding. He was also a good friend, he had many friends in the basque community.
Agustin worked at Farmer John for over 24 years. He was a hard working man and always took pride in his work. He was also a strong willed basque man.
