My father Dominick Clesi was a good man. He loved his family although not always open with his thoughts or feelings, I know he loved us. He and my mother together worked very hard to provide for my sister Serrena and me. I learned the importance of being smart with $ and putting in a days work. My dad was stubborn but when he smiled or laughed it was a joy to see. 

I could always tease my dad and get away with it  :) He was 100% Sicilian and was the strongest man I knew. A loud voice but my love & respect for him never wavered. I’ll miss him dearly and will continue to strive to make him proud. I am my father’s daughter and his strength will help me continue to fight whatever battle is before me. Thank you God for my daddy 💜🙏🏼🌹

As a young girl living in South Gate I met DOMINIC at South Gate Jr High. Gloria Weiss my best friend married Dominic. We all were in classes together through South Gate High School. Those were the days.. Lots of get togethers.. School activities. We all had alot of fun. I am trying to reach Edith Adair who hung out with us who lived right around the corner from Gloria and I who lived on Batavia Rd...I was always very proud of Gloria and Dominick. A cute couple. However I left school before graduation from High School..marrying had 4 sons later returned back to School and re connected with Gloria & Dominick by phone..Dominick was quiet..reserved..I sorta got a kick out of it as Gloria was bubbly very outgoing fun loving..opposites attract.I loved them both! Later on I tried to call them. Ended up having the blessing of talking with daughter Lisa who told me Gloria had passed.  Her Grandmother lead me to the Lord at a Billy Graham Crusade his 1st I am told in Los Angeles. As a Chaplain I will always be grateful for knowing Dominick and Glorias & their familys. My prayers and thoughts are with the families. God Bless you all.
