Elisa V Granillo

Elisa was called home to our Lord on September 9th at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her 8 siblings, her parents and many other loved ones, so we know the reunion in Heaven has been a joyous one.

Elisa was a wonderful wife, mother, mother in-law, sister, tía, grandmother (aka Nana to her grands and her greats), and friend. She lived her life by example and kept God as her guiding light, even in the face of tragedy, loss, pain, and tough times. She loved parrots and angels, she always had crossword puzzles or word search books at the ready, watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune every night, delighted in spending time with her family, and always made sure she told everyone how much she loved them. She will be greatly missed, and our lives have been truly blessed to have had her.

Elisa is survived by her sons Andy and Arthur (Vicky), grandchildren Elisa (Joey), Kellan, Carissa, AJ (Celene), and Sarah, great-grandchildren Tristen, Nicole, Ethan, Bronson, Elijah, and Jonah, and great great-grandchildren Noah, Damian, and Eden.

A memorial service for Elisa will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Miller Mies Downey Mortuary, 10229 Paramount Blvd, Downey, California 90241. A reception to follow service will occur at Miller Mies Downey Mortuary.
