Funeral Services will be held at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Bellflower on Saturday, December 19, at 9:00am for Elizabeth Briet Martinez. She passed away on Tuesday, December 8, at her home in Bellflower.
Elizabeth was born in Solo, Java, Indonesia and was a citizen of The Netherlands. She has lived in LA County for 54 years. She was an active member of St. Bernards Catholic Church and sang in the choir for many years.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her two sons, Gregory Martinez of Bellevue, WA and Maurice Martinez of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by her brothers, Eugene Briet of The Netherlands and Richard Briet of Cypress, CA and Evangeline V. Megens of Round Rock, TX. Also surviving Elizabeth are her granddaughter, Tiffany Bugarin and grandson, Jayden Martinez, and daughter-in-law, Allison Martinez.
Viewing will be on Friday, December 18, at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower St., Bellflower, CA 90706 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2161 S. Fullerton Rd., Rowland Heights, CA.
