Jeanette Kline

After a courageous battle with breast and colon cancer, Jeanette Kline 75, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at home with her family at her bedside in Bellflower, CA. She was born to Cornelius and Ida Struikmans on May 15, 1938 in Wilmington, CA. In 1940, the family moved to the dairy on Bloomfield Ave. in Artesia, CA. She married her high school sweetheart, Gordon Kline in 1958. They settled in Bellflower and began raising their family of three daughters. Jeanette was an avid seamstress and quilter. Her creations were always thoughtful and beautifully created. She also enjoyed all types of sewing handwork, especially count cross stitching. Jeanette is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, brother, husband, three daughters, and four grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA at 11:30 A.M. on Aug. 20, 2013. A memorial service will follow at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 17054 Bixby Ave. Bellflower, CA at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Artesia Christian Home, 11614 E. 183rd St. Artesia, CA 90701.
