Johnny…the only father figure I’ve ever really had. My childhood and teen years are full of memories of you. My sister and I practically lived at your house. You were the only man allowed to pop us lol. You never did tho…made plenty of threats. You  were the first person to show me how to square up🥊. My first memory of being roughed up and tossed around 🥹. You were the one who put me in the ocean water and took the time to convince me that it wasn’t going to swallow me up. You let me sit wayyy in back of the hatchback, in the window🤓. You put me in your lap and let me drive more then a few times.  You gave me my first psychology book and introduced me to medical journals/research. I still read them today. You came and picked me up in your ambulance with lights and sirens ! I later became an EMT because of it. You taught me that “Accidents can be prevented “ lol.  You always made me feel smart and special for being nerdy. You gave me plenty of books and stimulated my mind with talks about science and medicine. You often yelled at me about holding my head up and being confident. I thank you and hold those memories close to my heart. I hope that wherever your energy now resides it’s  at beautiful peace and that your next journey is an amazing one.  With Love Shannon

The world lost another good person. I’ve known John for many years played the game we loved so much ( basketball) and worked out in the gym many times. When I wanted to give up he would always say you can do it Mike! A true good person and friend. He will be missed enormously. To his family I send nothing but love and prayers in hopes they will understand he’s still watching over them, and I hope and pray god takes good care of my friend 🙏

My cousin Lil Johnny, always a beautiful disposition. Kind and fun. We spent most of our time together as kids. My mom, dad and brother, his mom and dad, always going fishing. We traveled across the states in Motor homes. We had fun every time we saw Lil Johnny. We reconnected as adults years later. Seemed like old times again. He was still, my cousin, Lil Johnny. Always smiling, always a gentle heart.
I will always love and miss you.
