Larry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne, June 10, 1960.
Immediately thereafter he joined and served in the Marines until receiving an Honorable Discharge in March, 1966, at the rank of
Sergeant E-5.
He attended East Los Angeles College and Cal State City College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with major in Business
Administration (Accounting).
He worked in his field in hourly positions prior to working for the City of South Gate as Finance Director, and Assistant Chief Administrative Officer before returning to the private sector.
He lived and worked during these years between the cities of South Gate and Downey, retiring as a Midas Muffler franchise owner in Downey.
His last job was a 40+ year volunteer serving on the Board and President of the Rancho Glenbrook Homeowners Association.
