Mr. Michaels passed away on Dec 30 after a brief illness. A resident of Huntington Beach, Mr. Michaels was born in Elsinore, CA on Aug 25, 1920 to Lee and Rose Allen Michaels. He was the eldest of seven children. Mr. Michaels resided in Murrieta until he joined the navy where he served during WWII. While enlisted, he married his sweetheart, Pauline Watkins, and they raised three sons together. Mr. Michaels is survived by his loving wife, Pauline, sons, Richard (Sue), and Zade (Bonita) of Lakewood, Mike (Mandy) of Tucson, AZ, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Helen Zinck of Elsinore, CA. You are invited to greet the family and share memories on Tuesday, Jan 8, from 4pm to 8pm at Whites’ Funeral home in Bellflower. Graveside services and interment will be at 11am on Wednesday at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
