

Head, Lloyd V. entered into his eternal life February 21, 2017 at his home in Bellflower, which he had called home for 58 years. He was the youngest of 16 children. Born on a farm near Marble, Arkansas on April 26, 1922. He was a WWII survivor, honorably discharged with two purple hearts and a patriot that flew the American flag everyday. He retired as the General Superintendent of Transportation at the Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, to his five children, their spouses, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many adopted children and grandchildren. He was known as “grandpa” to most everyone. There will be a viewing on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower Street, Bellflower and memorial service on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Neighborhood Christian Fellowship, 9603 Belmont Street, Bellflower.
