As a young woman she rode the bus, meeting her future husband after a flirty conversation. Spending 45 years together as husband and wife and dedicated mother to their three sons.
Luz worked various jobs over her life, from selling tacos to clothing factories, turning new friendships into family. The most beloved by Luz was caring for all the children entrusted to her. She loved every child as her own and they loved her just as much; receiving invitations to their milestones as they have grown.
Although, Luz’s three grandchildren, Junior, Elena, and Felix, captured her heart beyond compare. Even on her hardest days, she made sure they arrived safe from school, or sent pizza money for after dance class.
Luz’s love, endurance, and smile will forever be remembered by the people that loved her.
