

Martha Patricia Ramirez (Anguiano), 56, most recently of Bell, California passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Maria Anguiano and her father, Francisco Anguiano.
Martha loved her family, and people of all kinds. Martha was so incredibly proud of her children and the most loving mom and friend. She spent time volunteering for March of Dimes, Revlon Walk and was great at raising awareness and funding good causes. Generous, caring, compassionate, positive, supportive, affectionate, charitable, loving and so much more describe her perfectly and is how she’s remembered. Martha was so accepting of everyone from every walk of life, it’s no wonder many called her their BFF. If she wasn’t helping out people, she was catching up on new movie selections at home. Martha enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies while eating peanuts, shopping, and most of all going to Disneyland to ride thrilling attractions.
Martha was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, to Maria Venegas (deceased) and Francisco Anguiano (deceased). She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1981 in Los Angeles, CA. She attended some college at California State of Los Angeles. She worked at the Los Angeles County of Public Health Vital Records for over 25 years as Senior Secretary. On August 10, 1981 she married her best friend, Ramon Ramirez and they settled in East Los Angeles, CA where they raised their 2 daughters. Soon moving to Cudahy, CA and purchasing their first home in Bell, CA, where they currently reside.
Martha (Patty) is survived by her husband, Ramon Ramirez, her two daughters, Cynthia Moreno and Roxanne Ramirez, two son-in laws, Saul Moreno and Fernando Roman and her 5 grandchildren, Vivian Moreno, Nathan Chavez, Kevin Moreno, Sophia Moreno and Samantha Roman. Also, her two sisters, Esther Jimenez and Kathryne Moments as well as brother, Francisco Anguiano. She leaves behind numerous best friends, co-workers and many more close relationships. She was a heartwarming woman to be around, loved by many and will be missed tremendously.
Celebration of Life: The memorial service will be held January 9, 2020 at 4-8 p.m. (PST) at Miller Mies Downey Mortuary at 10229 Paramount Blvd, Downey, CA 90241.). January 10, 2020 at 9am for Catholic Mass 4235 Clara St, Cudahy, CA 90201. After mass we will be traveling to Rose Hills to 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601 in the Tierra del Cielo lot 21909.
