I ran into Darryl at the credit union yesterday and he said you know Mary Helen passed away. My heart dropped in disbelief. So I drove passes your house and your crv wasnt in the drive way. At that moment my heart completely fell out realizing the news I was just told had to be true. Mary Helen, words can not express the pain and void in my heart knowing I can not hear your voice, see your smile, and watch you dance. I will miss our deep conversations and the advice you would give me on life. Thank you for always believing in me and making me feel loved and by you and Dale while working with you guys all those years. You never once made me feel guilty for being who I am. Thank you for pushing me to go to college, because of you I have a Masters Degree and it was your encouragement and motivation that I kept in my head when I wanted to just give up. You were an amazing mother, boss, and most of all my friend/second mom. I Love You and Will Miss you Dearly.
Love Always,

Monica, Erica and Bobby,
I have been thinking about all of you today and I hope as this day winds down you are able to reflect on the joyful life that your mom lived. Always cheerful, always laughing, I will miss my Aunt Mary Helen dearly and I treasure many wonderful memories. Love to you all...

I wish we would have kept in touch! I will always remember you as being sweet and beautiful! It's so sad that I had no idea how many children you had or grandchildren. Or even that you worked for so long and retired. Maybe we will meet again one day. Love, your cousin, Gail Downs (Alarcon)

My deepest sympathy goes out to Mary Helen's family. I played softball in the same league with her on Thursday nights. I remember she played different positions and a couple of time I watched her pitch and she would crack me up because she would laugh at herself. Once I rode with her and Carmen to a softball tournament and we shared a room together – I had a blast. She was such a great person, she will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Monica, Erika and Bobby. May time heal your sorrow in the coming days. Mary Helen was a light hearted soul with a contagious laugh. We first met while our daughters (Wendy and Erika) were in Indian Maidens. Your Mom will be missed but her beautiful soul will always live on in our hearts. Love to all of you, Pam Petty-Estrada

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mary Helen. Mary Helen and I go way back to the late 70's where I first met her on the beach at a postal event..............Then years later, we reconnected thru softball..........she had a great laugh, and we would often laugh at just about anything......I am going to miss you, friend.......
