sister Ruby her husband Bill and their son Gary. Olen began working for a steel company and continued
working in the steel industry for 39 years. Being taught that hell was a literal place of torment, he was often
distressed by this. One day, he heard a knock on his door. It was Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was astonished that a Christian group did not believe in God tormenting people. He carefully studied the bible and learned the truth. In 1956 while living on Pleasant Ave. in the Boyle Heights area. He met Lupe, the love of his life. They were married in 1959.. Both Olen and Lupe dedicated their lives to Jehovah in 1960. In 1974 he bought a home in Huntington Park where he continued to live until his death. Olen loved Jehovah and continued to witness to others throughout his life, even by telephone when his health failed him. Olen was dearly loved by his wife
Lupe, son David, grandson David and many others. We look forward to welcoming him back in the resurrection Jehovah has promised.
