Vickie was a strong, happy and fun loving woman who had a heart of gold and was full of life. She was a caring lady who always thought of others first. She worked as a nurse at the Del Rio Convalescent Center in the City of Commerce and at Downey Regional Medical Center. Vickie later became a Pastry chef in Florida and worked at the Bridge Hotel and at the Isle Casino Resort.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Loyd, daughter Cathy (Chris) Brusca, son David (Jackie Cordeiro) York, 5 grandsons, 7 brothers, 8 sisters and many friends and other family members who will miss her greatly.
