Dan had a love of life every day and a very competitive spirit in all his endeavours. At a young age he started his career path delivering the Hamilton Spectator in the North end of the city. Dan obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. His career in mining took him all over the world. He was always eager to travel anywhere, anytime, making new friends everywhere he went.
Arriving home with stories of his latest hilarious and sometimes unbelievable adventures. Throughout his life he was always active, loved daily jogging, oldtimer hockey in North Bay and golfing became a passion. He always just wanted to have fun, a truly spirited child at heart. After spending 37 years in North Bay, many of which were spent at their home on Lake Nipissing, Dan and Susan recently relocated to Dundas Ontario with winter months spent in Florida. He will be missed more than words can say. Dan we will keep your happy spirit in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at Geraldos Banquet Hall 50 Northshore Road E, Burlington Ontario on Tuesday July 28th at 11:00 a.m.
