She is survived by her two children and the lights of her life, Eric and Hayley (and Hayley’s fiancé Karthik), and by her best friend and former husband Gerald. Donna was utterly devoted to her family and she will be missed every day for her kindness, keen intelligence and thoughtful generosity in making the lives of her family and others better. Donna worked primarily as a skilled legal secretary and law clerk, but the favorite part of her career was as a consummately talented and elegant ballroom dancer/teacher. Donna loved making things and mastered every single craft she decided to take on, such as exquisite custom teddy bears, quilting, cross-stitch, crochet, knitting and sewing designer-caliber clothing for herself and others. Donna also loved cooking (which she also mastered), reading and traveling to Disney World with her family.
