A former resident of Dundas, Eleanor passed away at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, Peterborough on Friday, November 3, 2017 in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Leonard and Alice McPhail. Predeceased by her husband Adam Scottie. Loving mother of David Hughes (predeceased) and Amy Hughes and her partner Joanne Heaphy. Survived by her brother Donald McPhail, and predeceased by one sister, Mary Patricia Carson, and two brothers, John and James McPhail. Grandmother to David Hughes Jr. (predeceased) and Jason Hughes, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
