Passed away at Margaret's Place Hospice, Dundas on Friday, May 2, 2025. Eva immigrated to Canada in 1957 from Berlin, Germany.
Predeceased by her husband Felix, who she met at Joe’s Diner in Dundas in 1957. Loving mother of Karl (Cindy, predeceased). Oma to Mark (Weina) and Mike.
Eva was a member of the Catholic Woman’s League at St. Augustine’s Church, also a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Villa for 17 years. Retired after many years of service with Steinberg's (Miracle Food Mart grocery store). Eva was always friendly with strangers, while her friends will always remember her for her smiles and brisk walks, and often referred to her as Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Dundas Chapel on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at 10am. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery, Dundas.
