Frances Lewis

Peacefully on February 14, 2017 in her 87th year. Predeceased by Wendell, her beloved husband of 59 years. Survived by her precious sister, Therese Scharbach. Devoted mother of David (Rev.), Gordon (Janice), Karen (Michael), Susan (Pat), John (Vivian), Rob (Sonia), and Brian (Elise). Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jodie (Jon), Cheryl (Brendan), Stephen (Sarah), James, Lori (Matt), Shannon (Drew), Kelly (Chris), Michael, Jonah, Annie, Rachael, Calvin and Madeline, and great grandma to Noah. Mom's bravery, determination, faithfulness, competitiveness and strength, carried her through rich and challenging times. We were blessed to be her children. A longtime member of the parish of Cathedral of Christ the King and member of the Catholic Women's League. Our heartfelt thanks to the health teams at Shalom Village and Juravinski Hospital. Visitation will take place at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Thursday, February 16 from 6 -9 pm, prayers at 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King, 714 King Street West, Hamilton on Friday, February 17 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster.
